He's already landed the oh-so-prestigious post-Super Bowl timeslot, which makes up for the indignity of Dr. House having to air his Christmas episode closer to Valentine's Day than to Dec. 25. Of course, House puts his own spin on the holiday anyway, as he okays a Secret Santa gift exchange for his team, with a very House-ian twist. As for the episode's medical case, the team is stumped by the condition of a woman suffering from sudden paralysis after spotting her daughter at an indoor rock climbing wall. The woman seems unwilling to give any details about her illness, but when her body continues on a downward spiral, House realizes she may not actually know what's wrong with her. By the way, that big Super Bowl episode? It features Oscar winner Mira Sorvino guest starring as a South Pole doctor who, sick and trapped without medical supplies or help, has to rely on Dr. Crabbypants and his crew to treat her ... via Webcam. Meanwhile, House is also going to get a shocker when he finds out who Wilson's been playing doctor with.
