Hema Malini, a damn new face in Kollywood, is acting in K. Rajeswar’s ‘Indira Vizha’. She was actually rechristened by the director as Sruthi and was introduced as Sruthi during the launch function. But the director had later changed his mind and decided to retain her original name.
Contrary to the current trend, the young girl follows a strict dress code when attending public functions. She opts for deglamorised dress in public functions.
Hema Malini is in cloud nine, as she has been selected by ‘Mirugam’ director Sami to act in his forthcoming film titled ‘Sariththiram’. The director, who was searching for a new face, decided to go with Hema after seeing her stills in a magazine.
Hema was quite excited by the call and she accepted the offer even without hearing the story. Such is the faith she has in the director.
