Much awaited album of Smita with self title "SMITA" is now getting ready for release on 15th May. This album is an amalgamation of divergent styles of music like dance, pop and soft romantic tracks and groovy numbers which will set the dance floor on fire.The album features 9 tracks composed by the immensely talented and successful musical duo – Sajid Wajid who have scored the music of recent blockbuster 
Bollywood movies like Welcome, Partner, Tere Naam, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge and more. The album is brilliantly held together by Smita's energetic vocals and striking personality. The lyrics of the Hindi album have been penned down by popular lyricists & dialogue writers Jalees Sherwani & Shabbir Ahmed. Tamil lyrics written by award winning writer "Pa Vijay" and Telugu lyrics by famous writers Sahithi, Kandikonda and Avinash. Smita signed up with Sony BMG for Hindi and Tamil languages and with Aditya Music for Telugu. This album will have 3 videos. The first video was shot in Mumbai in Film City and the second in Hyderabad at Annapoorna Studios. Both these videos are an audio visual extravaganza directed & choreographed by the country's leading choreographers Bosco-Caesar who have thrilled the audiences world over with their stylish moves in films like Dus, Bluffmaster, Salaam-e-Ishq, Partner, Jab We Met & Race. Smita had taken a long break after the last album. In this period she had put in immense effort in training herself in vocals, dance, gymnastics etc in India and in Los Angeles. She is seen absolutely fit and fighting in this album. With all these elements one can expect a lot from this brand new album "SMITA".
